Rudi Gresham Bio:

Rudi Gresham was executive director of the Vietnam Veterans Institute a position he held since 1995.The Veteran’s service organization worked to protect the integrity and historical accuracy of the Vietnam War. Mr. Gresham is a life member of the U.S Army Special Forces Association and served as the association’s primary spokesperson from 1995 to 2001. In the years before Mr. Gresham owned and operated radio stations in Florida and South Carolina. In March 2001 Rudi Gresham was appointed Deputy Assistant Secretary for Intergovernmental and International Affairs and Homeless Veterans and Consumer Affairs Program.  After 9/11 Mr. Gresham was promoted to Senior Advisor to the Secretary of the Veterans Administration. The VA ask Mr. Gresham to stay after President Bush left office. Mr. Gresham retired from the VA in 2010. In 2014 he was voted unanimously to join the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation in Charleston, SC.
